Welcome!
Hello Pittsburg Pirates! My name is Ninnette Alfaro and I am the High School & Community Outreach Coordinator at LMC. I am so excited that you are interested in LMC! I Assist students in various process at LMC including, application, registration, and general questions. A little bit about me; I am a Pittsburg Pirate Alumni! After I graduated High School, I had no idea what I wanted to do and did not have much direction. A few of my friends were attending LMC and convinced me to apply. I can honestly say that choosing LMC was a great choice for me! I gained a passion for education that I didn’t know I could have. At LMC I worked on campus as a Student Ambassador and made so many new friends! I earned two Associates Degrees in Liberal Arts; Math & Science and Liberal Arts; Social & Behavior Sciences. After I graduated from LMC, I decided to transfer to Sacramento State University and that too was one of the best choices I have ever made for myself. At Sac State I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development with an emphasis in Social & Community Settings and a Minor in Counseling. Throughout my entire undergraduate education I knew that I wanted to go back to work at LMC and give to other students what LMC gave me, confidence and encouragement when I was a lost HS grad, so when the opportunity arose, I jumped on it and I’ve been working at LMC ever since. I am super passionate about what I do and love helping students at any stage of their process. Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions!
