Students dig deep into the engineering design process, applying math, science, and engineering standards to hands-on projects like designing a new toy or improving an existing product.  Students will learn 3D computer modeling as well as hands-on building skills and art skills.

Students explore a broad range of engineering topics including mechanisms, strength of structure and materials, and automation, and then they apply what they know to take on challenges like designing a self-powered car. Students will build and test mechanisms.

Learning Python as a primary coding language, but also dabbling in block based coding and other languages, students explore and become inspired by career paths that utilize computing, discover tools that foster creativity and collaboration, and use what they’ve learned to tackle challenges like app development and simulation. This course is endorsed by the College Board, giving students the opportunity to take the AP CSP exam for college credit.

Students collaborate to create original solutions to problems of their own choosing by designing and implementing user interfaces and Web-based databases, as well as creating a game for their friends or an app to serve a real need in their community. This course is endorsed by the College Board, giving students the opportunity to take the AP CSA exam for college credit.

Students explore the physics of flight and bring what they’re learning to life through hands-on projects like designing a glider and creating a program for an autonomous space rover. Aero-Drone Flyer 

Students explore the physics of Drone flight and the FAA Regulations (Part 107) required to become a UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Commercial Remote Drone Pilot through lectures, hands-on flying, projects and simulations. Aero-Drone Flyer 

Students learn important aspects of building and site design and development, and then they apply what they know to design a commercial building.

Students explore the circuits, components, and small-scale electrical building:  focusing on the design process as it relates to electrical engineering.  They will create working circuits from scratch, learning how to create blueprints and schematics - and how to debug and reverse engineer circuitry!

Students discover and explore manufacturing processes, product design, robotics, and automation, and then they apply what they have learned to design solutions for real-world manufacturing problems.

Senior students identify a real-world challenge and then research, design, and test a solution - ultimately presenting their unique solutions to a panel of adults and industry personnel!
